[day 508]

In undergrad, Steph studied History & Political Science.  Because of this, I knew that our DC trip, albeit short, would be packed full of different locations and different times for story telling. We started off our day visiting Ashley, a mutual friend of ours who is the Legislation Director for Rick Crawford, one of Arkansas' representatives.  She gave us a personal tour of the capitol, during which Ashley and Steph both refreshed my memory of the history I learned as a kid as well as teaching more fascinating facts that I didn't know about our country's past. We then made our way to the Bible Museum.  It is a place I definitely recommend going--but maybe not on such a crowded weekend.  Seeing first-hand how the bible has endured time is quite incredible. I was thankful to experience it with these two.  And then we simply enjoyed a chilly spring day on the National Mall.  DC has so much to offer. We could spend a month here and still not see it all.
