I finally got back out into the natural state last weekend for some camping. And who better to share that time with than a best friend. Rachel and I started our friendship traveling around Italy and Spain this past summer. So, it comes naturally for us to continue going on adventures together, even if they are just to the other side of the state for a weekend. She learned pretty quickly that a camera in my hand meant she would end up being the subject in many photos to come. I am so thankful for a friend who is consistently around and happily willing to let me photograph what seems to be her every move at times. 

We drove up to Calico Rock for a quick view of the White River from above and then continued on to our destination: Horseshoe Bend campground situated on Beaver Lake in northwest Arkansas.
