Leaving Haiti today felt good. NOT because I was tired of the country and dying to get home… in fact, quite the opposite. If felt good because I knew I would be coming back year after year from now on. Last year was my first trip to Haiti and I had no idea I would be returning. When I left last year, there was a rainbow in the clouds (pictures here). Rainbows are signs of God’s promises and back then, I had NO idea just how much he would fulfill His promises to me. Stephanie and her friendship are tangible proofs to His faithfulness, as is Haiti. I have come to love it here. Orevwa, Haiti! Until next summer!
