Today we said our goodbyes to Lydia’s family and started our trek back to the States. On the way back to Kampala we stopped in Jinga to visit the Kibo Group. They are a wonderful non-profit organization servicing and encouraging the community around them through many outreach programs. It was really neat to be there because I spend a lot of time at my favorite local coffee shop, Midnight Oil, and all of their proceeds actually go to the Kibo group in Jinja.
