This week in NYC has honestly been more on the emotional end… as you read in yesterday’s blog, the death of Botham Jean has really effected us, especially Steph. We have definitely had our fun touristy times… today we even went to see Wicked on Broadway! But to be honest, this trip has turned into one of reflection–about love, relationship, politics, justice, racism. I am thankful for a best friend who will process things with me and help me reflect on this life we live… and also take literal reflection pictures with me in our hotel room.
