So you know that Small Town Business Revolution thing I have blogged about a few times?! Well guess what!? SEARCY WON! Tonight thousands in our community gathered in the Benson Auditorium where the winner was announced. It was so cool to wait with great expectations and anticipation as the time wound down. We were all holding our breath! I stayed close to my good friend Jo, who runs a local nonprofit called Make.Do. (if you follow me, you have heard of it!). Jo is one of THE most expressive people I know and I am so glad I was around her when it was announced. So many people I know and love have worked so hard to make this happen. Thanks to the millions of people who voted for Searcy! I can’t wait to see what is to lie ahead!
