Sedona Birthday

I have had the true joy of being by Steph’s side all day as she has had message after message of such true words of affirmations and love and well wishes for her birthday today. It makes my heart so happy to see how many lives she touches in the most uplifting and Spirit-led way. I’m not even sure I can fully realize how wonderfully blessed I am to call her my best friend. Words literally can’t describe what she means to me. I have learned more about God, life, love, relationship, grace, and oh so much more because Steph is, not just in my life but, a crucial part of it. We have certainly had our ups and downs but at the end of each day we know we are kindred spirits for life. Only God could have knit us together so perfectly.

I couldn’t think of a better place to take Steph for her birthday than SEDONA… again. Haha. Sedona wasn’t in the original road trip plan but we were too close to spend at least a day there. We planned it so that we were actually there ON Steph’s birthday and it was truly the best. We spent the day doing some of our favorite things… visiting the Church of the Holy Cross, ham mocking by the river, exploring a familiar dirt road (and taking a skipping photo haha), Steph hugging trees, and ending the day watching the sun go down and the stars come out atop a mountain. Oh, and of course, lots of good good food (not pictured) along the way! We even found a couple new eats that we will definitely be going back to.
