Today I got to witness something really special. One of Steph’s students recently lost a friend. Steph encouraged the student to take her time and write a letter and when the time was right, they’d release the letter into the sky. Today was that day. It is our hope that by letting go of the balloons and the letter and releasing them to above, she letting go of a bit of the grief which had weighed on her recently. She will always hold onto and cherish the memories she created with her friend but some of the heavier sides of grief, in time, and drift away. That is a beautiful thing.
