Hopefully it doesn’t take you long to notice that this isn’t actually a picture. It is a drawing, reated by me, on my new phone. Why a new phone, you ask? Because my “old” (brand new iPhone 10X) died. How did it die, you ask? Because tonight before all the Upward Bound students go into the pool to swim, Steph and I decided to get an awesome shot of me diving into the pool. One of the coolest features of the new phones is that they are waterproof… well, at least they are “waterproof.” But that is just water, as in H2O only. Waterproof does not equate to pool proof. My phone quickly succombed to the chlorinated chemicals and it is no more. I lost my phone and all the photos in it…. Apples users, be warned! But I do have to give them SOME credit, they did replace my phone…
